RESIDENT FACILITIESTHE UNIQUE FEATURE WE PROVIDE
In our supportive living accommodation, we have a unique feature in the field of homelessness. We operate a drug and alcohol-free project; this ethos has proven to be revolutionary for those who are serious about change. We also believe in the transformational 12 step program whilst adhering to our Christian faith, this is also tailored by creating a therapeutic atmosphere, one of peace and unity.
bedrooms
The 15 single bedrooms are fully furnished (including bed linen and towels).
food and meals
A range of breakfast cereals as well as eggs and bacon are available up to 10.00am.
Milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee and other basic food items are available any time of the day.
Residents cook their own meals, but there is a communal meal every Sunday lunchtime, to which guests can be invited (except during Covid lockdown restrictions).
We provide cooking equipment, cutlery, cups, plates etc.
laundry
The laundry room has three washing machines and three tumble dryers, and we provide washing powder and fabric conditioner.
wifi & computers
We provide free wi-fi and two computers for the use of residents.
smoking
There is no smoking allowed anywhere in the building.
There is a smoking shelter in the back garden of the house.
TV & TV Licence
Most of the rooms have TV aerials, but the licence for the house only covers the televisions on the ground floor.
If you watch television in your room, you will need to pay for your own TV licence.
workshop
The workshop is for the use of residents, with the supervision of the activities co-ordinator, for building and repairing furniture items, DIY projects and bike repair.
Garden
There is a barbeque area and seating in the back garden, and the lawn and plants in the front and back gardens are maintained by residents.
